For the past several years, my personal project has been photographing dogs during my adventures in the great outdoors. Nothing makes me happier than spending time in nature with man’s best friend. Although I took all these photos just for fun, they’ve garnered a lot of recognition that’s been pretty awesome! One won the Grand Prize in PDN’s animal photo contest (2010), two were selected for the “Dogs, Dogs, Dogs!” juried art show in Los Angeles (2010), a book I published (Trail Tails: Dogs in the Great Outdoors) won a People’s Choice Award in the Blurb Best Books Contest (2009), and a few have even been used in The Bark. Here are a few of my favorite shots!
